About Myself
I live in Wichita Kansas with my wife and three kids. I am the Head of Ceramics at Mark Arts where I teach classes on making pottery including wheel throwing and handbuilding. I’ve been making pottery since 2005 when I started taking ceramics classes at Wichita State University. I received my BFA in 2008 as a painter, however, I am drawn to functional pottery for it’s combination of design, craftsmanship, process, and utility. Currently I don’t consider myself as an artist as much as a designer craftsman.
About My Pots
My pots are made for the home and are meant for everyday use. They are food-safe, dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe. Made with care and quality craftsmanship, they feel comfortable in your hand and enhance your eating and drinking experience. Each pot is made and glazed by hand and is one of a kind.
About Purchasing My Pots
If you’d like to buy any of my pieces, I will be selling new pots periodically in my online shop. You can find out about upcoming sales by following me on Instagram or sending me an email. If you have any requests, let me know and I’ll see what I can do for you.
I’ll do my best to get your order to you within 5 days and you’ll receive a tracking number once it ships. If you are near Wichita, pick-up is an option and I’ll have to set that up with you individually. Currently, returns are not an option, so sales are final. If a piece is damaged in shipment, let me know and I’ll try to make it right.
